Laboratory Presentations

The laboratory presentations will take place during a 20 minutes window. Thereby, 15 minutes will be dedicated to the presentation itself, and 5 minutes to the Q&A.

Presenters should address the following topics:

-matrices and devices (sampling and collection devices (lancets)) used for testing (including blood volumes)

-storage and transport conditions for samples

-calibrator preparation and storage conditions (e.g. temperature and duration)

-sample workup conditions (e.g. extraction solvent and duration)

-chromatographic conditions (e.g. column(s) and solvents)

-monitored transitions for the mass spectrometer (e.g. 701.5–> 255.3 as quantifier, 701.5–>281.3 as qualifier). Please also state which PEth species you are investigating and what their interpretative values are (e.g. only PEth 16:0/18:1 or PEth 16:0/18:1 and PEth 16:0/18:2)

– applied cutoff concentrations and wording (e.g. “<20 ng/mL is not in contradiction with abstinence”)

-PEth harmonization topics which you would like to address and resolve during this conference
